Fast Rescue Boats, refresh

A refresher course for those who need to renew their FRB certificate.

After successfully completing the course, you can apply for a Fast Rescue Boats certificate from either Traficom (Finland) or the Swedish Transport Agency.

Coffee and meals are included in the course price.

Course components

• Overview of construction and equipment
• Launching and recovery
• Safety
• Handling and maneuvering in various weather conditions

Prerequisites

• A valid medical certificate for seafarers not older than two years.
• Traficom: Previously issued FRB certificate
• Transportstyrelsen: At least three months of relevant sea service within the last five years, and a previously issued Fast Rescue Boats certificate.
