Course overview

This course offers you basic and advanced IGF code training including practical fire fighting exercises.

This course is for crew members with immediate responsibility for the handling of fuels on IGF Code ships.

The course is offered in English.

Pre-studies

You receive course materials beforehand. Assignments must be handed in before the practical training.

  • Practical firefighting exercises
  • Safety prerequisites outlined in the IGF code

  • Onboard safety operations

Prerequisites

  • Completed IGF Basic-course STCW A-V/3-1

 

How to apply for your certification:

You will receive an acknowledgment of completion by the end of the course. The document entitles you to a certificate issued by Traficom.
