Course overview

This course is for crew members with immediate responsibility for the handling of fuels on IGF Code ships.

The course is offered in English.

Pre-studies

You receive course materials beforehand. Assignments must be handed in before the practical training.

Practical training and lectures

  • Practical firefighting exercises
  • Safety prerequisites outlined in the IGF code
  • LNG systems
  • Onboard safety operations
  • Emergency response

Prerequisites

  • Certificate of Proficiency in Basic Safety Training  STCW A-VI/1

 

How to apply for your certification:

You will receive an acknowledgment of completion by the end of the course. The document entitles you to a certificate issued by Traficom.
