Advanced Fire Fighting, basic course

A training in advanced fire fighting for deck or engine officers.

After successfully completing the course, you can apply for an Advanced Fire Fighting certificate from either Traficom (Finland) or the Swedish Transport Agency.

The course includes digital preparatory studies in the form of e-learning, which you will gain access to three weeks before the course starts. The course concludes with practical exercises at our fire training ground. Read more about e-learning here.

Prerequisites

• A valid medical certificate for seafarers not older than two years.
• Approved e-learning before participating in the practical exercises at the training ground.
• Traficom (Finland): Basic Training (STCW A-VI/1)
• Transportstyrelsen (Sweden): Three months of relevant sea service within the past five years. Previously issued Basic Safety Training certificate or an endorsement under Regulation VI/1. Alternatively, certification as Deck Officer Class VII, VI, V, IV, III, II, or Master Mariner, Engineer Officer, Marine Engineer.
